TAFE programming dispute pro forma

The 2016 TAFE Educators Certified Agreement is specific in emphasising the professionalism of TAFE teachers.

The section on programming clearly outlines expectations for consultation and agreement between TAFE Queensland and teaching teams. Where consultation is not taking place, or if it is not possible to achieve a reasonable consensus position re programs or timetables, members have recourse to the programming dispute resolution process outlined at 25.4 of the agreement.

To assist members in such circumstances, the QTU has developed a pro forma which directly addresses the requirements of the certified agreement and the modern award.
The document asks a series of questions and outlines helpful evidence to present to the LCC for intervention in the matter. When filled out, accompanied by relevant data and evidence and submitted as a “notice of dispute”, the document has demonstrably assisted in successful resolution of disputes.

An electronic copy of the pro forma is available from tafe@qtu.asn.au
